#85 Approaching Storm

#85 "Approaching Storm"

I had no time to paint this morning as we came back to San Francisco today. But I had one in reserve for just such an occasion.

This reference photo comes from Victor, Idaho, when I was taking a workshop from Scott Christensen, several years ago. Most of these photos were of the back side of the Tetons, which are not as dramatic as the Wyoming side. It is still quite beautiful there and as we were painting here, this storm came fast and furious over the ridge.  We got closed up and back into our cars just it time.
